Alicia

I just wanted to update you on the pups.  Well they will be four months old in a day or so.  Pasha has grown so much!  He is nicely maturing

as a golden male.  He is affectionate, friendly and very outgoing.  I've had Tanya for a month now and she is something real special.  She is

more reserved, but still affectionate.  She likes to be next to you.  She is quite similar to my Lara.  She also loves to ride in the car and lays

down without any panting.  She appears to be a perfect companion!

I have attached some very recent pictures.  Thank you for breeding such lovely dogs,

Walter

Hi Alicia,

Thanks for asking about us.  Petey is doing well.

He is such a sweet, smart puppy.  He was coming to me when I called his name within
a week and he sits without me ever teaching him.  Everytime I am in the kitchen, I
look down and he is sitting at my feet staring up at me wagging.   When you pet him
he immediately rolls over to have his tummy rubbed.  When I come home and call his
name he comes running through the house to jump in my arms and kiss my face.  The
kids love him and Buddy and Petey get along great.  I have to laugh as Petey follows
Buddy everywhere he goes, lays next to him to sleep and they have the best time play
fighting.  Also, by the 3rd day he was sleeping through the night(7hours) without
having to go to the bathroom.  He still is having a little trouble with house
training but he is almost there.

I highly recommend you when people ask where we got are adorable, white golden.  I
have enclosed a couple of pictures from last week.

Take care, Marianna

Hello Alicia I had purchased a female from you last summer in August. I wanted to let you know that we named her Cali and we absoulutley love her. I aquired a male a few months ago and we love him too. They are one of the most awesome dogs I have ever owned, everywhere we go with them people want to know what kind of dogs they are and go crazy over them. They love to run in the field with the kids and jump into the big water tub we have for them, its just so neat to watch them.Thank You for your time and Thank You for breeding such wonderful dogs , she truly is a beautiful dog inside and out

Bentley had a fantastic first day! Played in the yard all day, ate dinner while we did, went for a walk,

swam in the creek, got a shower, now he is curled up and sound asleep.
We LOVE him, so easy going and laid back. He listens SO well. We are very thankful to have him. :)

we will be sure to send more pictures!
Have a great weekend and thank you again. Your dogs are beautiful and so

well taken care of!

Alicia,
Toby has achieved celebrity status in our neighborhood..  Everyone smiles
when they see him and comment on how cute he is. He is the sweetest puppy we
have ever had .

Toby loves his yard, digging for treasures and exploring his neigborhood.
He goes everywhere with us and he loves to walk and he travels well. He likes
the car and loves to meet people
He is growing like a weed. His beautiful feathers have started to come in and
he is so handsome.

Toby has filled our lives with so much joy! He is one happy guy.
Everyone wants to take him home with them. Happily he comes home with us.
We love him and his puppy kisses. He has an incredible spirit.
 Here are some pictures.
We promise to keep you posted on his progress.

Hello Alicia,

I cannot tell you how happy we are with JD! He has definitely made our new house
feel like a 'home'. he keeps us laughing, and keeps us busy! but I have to say,
he's been wonderful about his training. House training has been a breeze....when
he's crated, he has not had one accident! he quickly learned that 'going potty'
is to be done on the grass, and the few accidents he's had have all been typical
puppy accidents....when he's exploring new rooms that have carpet, or we're
playing with him and he gets so excited. so nothing major at all. Other than
that, he's already learned sit, stay, and paw, and this week I started to teach
him to come. I've personally learned that he perfers hand commands over voice,
and that he'll do anything you want for a treat! He's been great with eating, so
now I estimate he's probably 19-20 lbs (we go back to the vet's next week so I'll
let you know!) and he's gotten his next round of vaccinations and he'll get
another next week too.

A good friend of ours just got her 8-week old german sheppard puppy this past
weekend, so we're going to ensure that these two become the best of friends! JD has
been wonderful about meeting all sorts of new people, both in our house, outside,
and at other people's houses. I have to tell you that people fall in love with him
immediately. his temperment is perfect...he loves to meet people, be around people
and involved with whatever you're doing, which we are ecstatic about. We love that
he's social and energetic, but at the same time, has no problem relaxing with a toy
(and lying right on top of the floor vent to have the cool air blow right onto his
belly)!

I'll definitely send you pictures tonight! so sorry that it's taken me so long!

Thanks again Alicia for such an incredible puppy!
best,

Ryan

We (my wife and two sons) are quite happy with our new addition, Shiloh.
We've had her now for a little over two weeks and thoroughly enjoy her
spirit, personality and who doesn't love her looks. We currently have a 4
year old Havanese and an 11 year old golden and both dogs are treating her
like one of their own. Our local vet gave her a thumbs up for health and we
would definitely purchase another golden from Gold Standard Kennels

Alecia:

My girlfriend and I, Missy, will attend along with Chelsey. I've attached a picture of her at Shenandoah National Park.

She's a great dog with ZERO problems. Many people have commented on how great a line she must have come from.

If you remember, she was the pick of the litter, the lightest and the biggest. We look forward to seeing you in June!

Thanks,

David

Hi, Alicia -

It was so nice to meet you and your family and to see our little girl in
person. Your Dad was so
helpful and informative...tell him thanks for his hospitality. We were
very impressed by your
facility. The kennel was so clean and all the dogs healthy, happy and
beautiful.

We can't wait to bring our cutie home to spoil. What shots will she have?
I am sure our
vet will know what comes next for her.

Not only are your dogs beautiful but your customer service and attention
to detail makes what you are trying to build in reputation all the more
attractive to potential buyers.

Keep up the good work and we will send pictures from time to time. Hope
the make the
picnic next year.

Thanks,

Kathy

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Alicia and Gold Standard Kennel. Our family is so
blessed to have
not only one, but two of their gorgeous puppies! My little girl, Riley was so lovable and persuasive when I came to
visit with my parents, that my Dad brought home her sister, Maddy for himself!! We are comp...letely in love.
Our veterinarian commented on how friendly and laid back they are at visits and we get compliments
on their beautiful looks all the time (of course, we're a little biased). Alicia was so good to us and was kind
enough to send us pictures as they grew up. Our visit just melted my heart. The dogs are obviously so
well loved and taken care of. You can't help but fall in love with all of their dogs! I tell all my friends
about Gold Standard Kennel and will never get a dog anywhere else!

Alicia,
What a wonderful puppy you sold us!
He traveled like a champ and was the newest celebrity in our neighborhood. He stole
everyone's hearts. Picture six adults sitting in the yard while Toby  hopped  from
lap to lap!  Charming everyone!
He is a love bug and we are both so very grateful for all you do to prepare your
puppies for loving homes.
My sincerest thanks we promise pictures and updates.

 Have a nice 4th!
Laura & Sandy  Leonetti and our new little buddy Toby

Hi Alicia,
Just letting you know we are really enjoying our new puppy we named Bodie. We have
had him 3 weeks now and he is turning into a great young dog. He is easy to train
and doesn't get up to too much mischief!
Best regards,
Ingrid Shears

I purchased my Golden from Alicia in June 2006.

He is a puppy form Chloe and Gus and is now 10

months old and very healthy. I went to their house in P.A.

and met their dogs. All their dogs are

family pets and are well taken care of

and well socialized.The puppy

I purchased has the beauty and intelligence that

can not be surpassed.I brought my puppy home

at 10 weeks old and he was almost immediately

housetrained. He has not stopped surprising us with

his intelligence and easy going temperment!

Our dog/puppy is EXTREMELY good with

small children, animals, and adults.

I highly recommend purchasing a puppy from

Gold Standard Kennel.Feel free to contact

me for a reference!

I bought a dog from Gold Standard Kennel - the best choice I could have made! My baby is VERY healthy and absolutely gorgeous.

We get stopped all the time and asked where we got our baby from. He was extremely easy to train and has the best personality.

I would buy from them again - THANK YOU!

Skeet (now age 3) is the most beautiful and wonderful dog you can imagine! Our
vet, Dr. Johanna Andrews, at Mountain Shadow Veterinary Hospital, describes his
physique as "perfect", as he is at an optimal body weight and it also muscular.
Skeet is always ready to play. He has "a puppy inside" or an inner puppy, as
we say. Right now he is laying at my side keeping me company as I type this
message. Skeet is a wonderful family dog, very affectionate and fun. The
first two years or so he was very energetic, as we expected from our first
golden retriever, Worf. Now he mellows out and relaxes and is such a love!
(We wish we could breed him and have one of his puppies!) Thank you for being
a great breeder of extremely healthy, happy and sweet golden retrievers! We
couldn't ask for a better dog than Skeet or "Skeety" as I like to call him.
Keep up the good work!

Mike and Corinne Betz, Schuylkill Haven, PA

Alicia
I wanted to tell you that Dakota the pup we got from you a little over a year ago

is the most amazing dog we have ever had.
We have had Goldens before but never one with the personality like this one.

His behavior is perfect.  He has never been a chewer of shoes etc. He doesn't beg for food when we eat.  He has had the run of the house when we are gone since he was a year old.
His temperament is something else.  Not a mean bone in his body he truly loves

everyone in the family.  When people come over he takes to them right away also.

When he goes to the vet Dr. John says how can you not love a dog like this.
He loves to go for rides in the car because he knows that most of the time that

means we are going to the Dog Park which is his favorite place in the world.
We don't do it any more but when he was younger you can see by the picture we

used to put him on the tread mill to use up some energy.

He would go like 4 miles.
Also as you can see his favorite place is my bed.  He sleeps with me or

out in the hall so he can guard all of us.  Also comes up and hops on the bed

when I am on the computer.  I could go on and on about him

I LOVE HIM SO.
Thanks for selling us a great dog

The Lymanstall
PS we would recommend your dogs to anyone

Halsey's the best. We spent a lot of time & $ training him right from the beginning. It was easey. He responded as only a great Golden would. We socialized him by taking him to the dog park right after all of his baby shots. He loves ALL animals & people. We never tire of hearing people say what a great & beautiful dog our HALSEY is. Hopefully, with the grace of his creator, he will be with us for a very ,very long time.

Hello.  I am sorry we can not come to the picnic as we have many graduation parties
to attend this year but we wanted to send you a picture of our wonderful golden,
Dukah.
We got her from Kailey's litter in January, three years ago.
She is the most wonderful pet anyone could ever hope for.
She is extremely, gentle, lovable, well mannered, and obedient.
She has never caused a bit of trouble or even chewed anyhing
(other than when she was a puppy), that she shouldn't have.
We can take her anywhere and she is always welcomed and praised.
We never have to worry about finding a dog sitter as many people offer
and want to take her.   The only problem is we miss her so much when we go
away for vacation.   She has been very healthy and the only medical expense
has been her yearly physicals.
I can not say how thankful we are to have found Gold Standard Kennel.
They  were extremely wonderful to deal with and have provided  us one
of the most precious dogs I have ever come in contact with. I would certainly
return to them if I was ever in need of another golden.  It shows how much
they care about their dogs and the families they go to.  I think it is so nice that
they try to keep in touch with all their "families".  Again, we were so lucky to
have found them and are so greatful for our wonderful, Dukah!

Sincerely,
Bill Smith and Carole Morgan

Alicia:

Attached are two of my favorite pictures of my Line Mountain Girls (Now Gold Standard!). The "Snow Bunnies"

picture was taken during the blizzard of 2010. On the left is Biscuit (2.5 yrs - daughter of Kailey & Gus) on right is Brie

(5 yrs - daughter of Chloe & Gus).

I can never thank you enough for the joy you have given me with my two four-legged blond daughters!

They have an exceptionally friendly demeanor - even for a breed known for that quality.

I have a dog walker who comes to my house twice a week and brings other client dogs along to play.

She always comments that my girls are always so welcoming to all dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

Please continue your breeding program. I always recommend you to folks who ask me where I found my wonderful girls!

Sincerely,

Peggy Pierson
